Minecraft: placed a bed in the Nether, it exploded (as expected), but it created a perfect circular hole through 40 blocks of netherrack. Like a cartoon bomb. Never reproduced it.

Yeah the End Update has been requested for YEARS. Mojang keeps teasing features and then dropping them. The Birch Forest fiasco all over again.
