• No fee alternative: Games can still be published for free, but will only be visible to users aged 16+
• Grandfathered: Games published before this policy are exempt

Following community backlash, Roblox introduced an alternative: creators can opt for a subscription-based model instead of the upfront fee. This was announced via their Developer Forum AMA on May 11.
